FAQs

Have questions about drones or drone cleaning? You've come to the right spot. We've compiled a list of common inquiries we've received. If you don't see your question here, feel free to get in touch—we're here to help!

1. How does drone cleaning work, and what is "soft washing"?

Our drones are equipped with specialized, high-capacity spray systems connected by a hose to a custom ground rig (containing water and cleaning solutions). The operator controls the drone precisely from the ground, applying solutions and rinsing. We primarily use soft washing, which applies biodegradable, low-pressure cleaning solutions to safely remove dirt, mold, algae, and mildew without the damaging force of high-pressure washing.

2

What are the key benefits of using a drone over traditional cleaning methods?

The primary benefits are Enhanced Safety, Cost-Effectiveness, and Superior Access. We eliminate the need for costly and risky scaffolding, bucket trucks, or workers on ropes, as all technicians remain safely on the ground. This also reduces labor costs, saves time on setup/teardown, and allows us to clean high-rise sections, steep roofs, and other hard-to-reach areas that are difficult or impossible with traditional equipment.

3

What types of properties and surfaces can your drones clean?

Our drones are versatile and can clean a wide range of commercial and industrial properties, including high-rise buildings, office complexes, factories, warehouses, large retail centers, and more. Surfaces we clean include exterior facades, windows, metal cladding, roofs (shingles, metal, composite), concrete, and solar panels.

4

Are your pilots licensed, and are you fully insured?

Absolutely. All of our drone operators are FAA-certified and hold a Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107 license), which is required for commercial drone operation. Our company is fully licensed and carries comprehensive liability and aviation insurance specifically for drone operations, protecting our team, your property, and the public.

5

What kind of weather conditions can affect drone cleaning operations?

Drone cleaning is typically performed in dry, mild conditions. For safety and quality, we may need to reschedule in the event of high winds (typically above 20-25 mph), heavy rain, or snow, as these conditions can affect drone stability and the effectiveness of the cleaning solutions. We will always notify you in advance if a schedule change is necessary.

6

Does your service require a lot of setup or disrupt my business operations?

One of the greatest advantages of drone cleaning is minimal disruption. There is no heavy scaffolding or large lift equipment blocking entrances or parking lots. Our crew and ground rig require a small operational area, and the work is completed quickly and quietly, allowing your normal business operations to continue with minimal interruption.
