Drone Window Cleaning
Every pane, including the ones nobody can reach.
Most companies clean the windows they can see, and you can too — we do those all the time, with flawless results. It's the windows that never get cleaned that also matter: the second-story gable over the porch roof, the transom above the front door, the whole bank of glass facing the Bay. A ladder either doesn't reach them or shouldn't be up there at all.
We fly a purified-water cleaning system to the glass instead. Nothing on your landscaping, no boots on your roof, no scaffolding rental. The drone works the face of the building from the outside, top to bottom, and the water does the rest.
What’s included
- Exterior and interior glass at every elevation
- Purified (deionized) water — dries spot-free with no residue
- Frames and sills cleaned
- Screens removed and rinsed on request
- Ground-level glass hand-detailed where it needs it
- Post-clean walkthrough before we pack up
The problem
Why you need to do this
What we actually see on Eastern Virginia properties — and why the usual fix falls short.
Salt film you can't squeegee off
Bay and ocean air leave a mineral haze that builds over a season. Hard water makes it worse — you wipe, it dries, the spots come back. Deionized water carries nothing that can dry into a spot, so the glass dries clear on its own.
The windows nobody has cleaned in years
Most homes have three or four panes that simply get skipped, every time, because reaching them means a 28-foot ladder on soft ground. Those are exactly the ones a drone reaches first.
Buildings that show their age
Commercial property owners are rarely aware of how a building gets dirty over time — but tenants and prospective renters are. A clean building makes a great first impression, and that helps ensure customer satisfaction and long-term tenants.
How we do it
Start to finish
- 01
We look at the glass and siding before we quote
Pane count, height, and how long since the last clean all determine the price. You get the number before we start, not after.
- 02
Ground rig sets up on the pavement
Water and cleaning solution stay on a wheeled rig on a hard surface. Nothing parks on your landscaping.
- 03
The drone works top-down
Purified water, low pressure, fed by hose from the rig. A certified pilot flies from the ground with eyes on the aircraft the entire flight.
- 04
Ground floor by hand
Anything we can reach standing up, we do the traditional way — it's faster and more precise at that height.

FAQs
Drone Window Cleaning questions
Our drones are equipped with specialized, high-capacity spray systems connected by a hose to a custom ground rig that holds the water and cleaning solutions. The operator directs the drone from ground level, applying the solution and rinsing. We primarily use soft washing — biodegradable, low-pressure cleaning solutions that safely remove dirt, mold, algae and mildew without the damaging force of high-pressure washing.
Enhanced safety, cost-effectiveness and superior access. We eliminate the need for costly and risky scaffolding, bucket trucks or workers on ropes, as all technicians remain safely on the ground. This reduces labor costs, accelerates setup and teardown, and lets us reach high-rise sections and steep roofs that traditional equipment cannot.
Our drones are versatile and can clean a wide range of commercial and industrial properties, including high-rise buildings, office complexes, factories, warehouses and large retail centers. Cleanable surfaces include exterior facades, windows, metal cladding, roofs (shingle, metal and composite), concrete and solar panels.
Yes. All of our drone operators are FAA-certified and hold a Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107 license), which is required for commercial drone operation. We also maintain comprehensive liability and aviation insurance specifically for drone operations.
We operate in dry, mild conditions. We may need to reschedule in the event of high winds (typically above 20–25 mph), heavy rain or snow, as these conditions can affect drone stability and the effectiveness of the cleaning solutions.
One of the greatest advantages of drone cleaning is minimal disruption. There's no heavy scaffolding or lift equipment blocking entrances or parking areas — the crew and ground equipment occupy minimal space, and the work completes quickly and quietly.
Reviews
What Eastern Virginia says about us
Real words from real Drone Precision Solutions customers.
“I cannot say enough great things about this company! They power washed our entire home and cleaned all of our windows, and the difference is absolutely incredible. Everything looks fresh, bright, and practically brand new again! They were professional, thorough, dependable, and paid attention to every little detail. The windows are spotless, and the exterior of the house looks better than I could have imagined. You can tell they genuinely take pride in their work, and it absolutely shows in the finished product. I would 100% recommend them to anyone needing power washing or window cleaning. Five stars all around, we will definitely be using them again!”
“I can't tell you how many complaints we get from our guests when we have to wash our hotel, which usually takes 2–3 days. You guys were in and out in a day and knocked out the front in a couple of hours during guest turnover. Can't imagine using anyone else ever again.”
“I can't thank you enough — what a pleasure it was working with you on getting ESCC's exterior windows and building cleaned up. What a difference! I greatly appreciate it.”
